Please keep these prayer points in your daily pray for the Youth and Young Adults of Springvale Vietnamese Evangelical Church.

1. Praise God for sustaining the English Service on Sundays 8:45am and praise God for the commitment of both leaders (servants) and members to it each week. We thank the Lord for the gracious guest speakers who are invited to speak regularly. We pray that the enthusiasm for God and the Word will grow and that new people will rise to serve Him and His people.
2. Praise God for establishing the cell groups last year and for the great work the leaders have done in ministering to the members. We pray for the leaders not to grow weary in their leadership and for members to grow in their love for the Lord and assist in coordinating the cell. We pray for some of the cell leaders who feel inexperienced in their leadership to grow in confidence
3. Pray for JAM (Jesus And Me), our bi-monthly Friday night youth service which is geared towards bringing new friends and family so that they can see what Church is like and receive a Gospel message. It has been in intermission since the end of last year due to coordination difficulties, however we pray and aim to resume JAM starting at the end of May. We thank the Lord for the positive response it produced for us last year. Please pray for us in choosing a committed and appropriate coordinator for JAM for its resumption.
4. Pray for our Vietnamese International Students Ministry which consists of about 5 people currently. Often these students are struggling with accommodation, transport, language, culture and especially finances. Part time work often makes it difficult for them to attend Church and Cell groups. We are also making connections with the local Secondary College to minister to the needs of the international students there.
5. Praise God for the lives changed and experiences gained through last year's Mission Trip to Vietnam in September. We had a team of 9 people including Pastor Thoa visiting Churches, orphanages, a mental institution and a Christian drug rehabilitation centre. All of the team came back with a greater passion to serve God and minister to people. We pray for the mission trip that is planned for later this year. We pray for God to equip us with the necessary funds, health and volunteers to make a positive difference in the lives of many people in Vietnam.
6. We pray for God's sustenance of our other ministry teams including community impact, worship, welcoming, Sunday school, transport and administration.
7. We pray dearly for Pastor Thoa whom God has used over the last 3 years to nourish and strengthen all the Youth and Young Adults at Springvale Church. On February 15 Pastor Thoa passed on the Youth ministry to Pastor Phillip as God has called her to further Theological studies. We pray in thanks for her ministry and pray that God continues to give her further success in future ministries. We pray for God's guidance and provision for Pastor Phillip as he develops as Pastor and coordinator of the Youth Ministry.
