On Sunday August 8th, 2010 we will be celebrating Youth Day as a day to encourage and appreciate the youth of our Church.

In Mark 10:13-16 Jesus says: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and blessed them.

We want to encourage the children, as they are a part of God's kingdom just as much as we are. On Youth Day the youth will lead the service, lead the singing, perform a skit and have a special message preached to them in English. We are honoured to have Ps Ken Harris from Clayton Church of Christ to preach God's Word to us, which will also be translated into Vietnamese by one of our members. Come along and bring your children too to celebrate Youth Day with all of us.
